That said, with 10 cards shuffled, you should be able to “take” that mana back quite quickly, often after the first card you draw. Will it be good enough to put the deck into the meta? It would feel horrible. Such RNG cards are fun if they’re bad, but this one might not be. On the other, from the competitive side, I absolutely dislike this card, because there is A LOT of RNG involved. On the one hand, I already want to play around with it. So, on average, a huge discount will be applied. On the other hand, those cards now cost 1 mana each. On the one hand, shuffling a bunch of random cards into your deck was never a good thing. I get a high getting people to tilt in this game of Ri…ehem excuse me - randomness.Another insane card from this expansion.

IN a totally random game, especially adding 10 from academic plus my entire deck from Archbishop, VIOLA!!! I still get a Lyra the Sunshard which wasn’t in my btw. Didn’t this just happen yesterday? Why yes, yes it did. Oh, Legendary Archbishop, yep on cue within 2 cards drawn after playing Academic. Hmm I make a 5/5 copy twice and look at that, got a card for exact removal. Oh, you do have heal spells to go with that, a nice zero cost Regenerate for removal. Well rogues dont have heal but for his Spectral Cutlass already in hand per 1 2 3 RNG game design. Ah the other old here ya go card, Auchenai Soulpriest. Per usual everything is just mellow until turn 5. I dont have all the cards and meh, toss in some Voodoo dolls with Smite just incase. Meh, will try one of gimped Resurrect Priest decks. Okay seeing a lot of Paladin buffs and sadly it works.
New freebie card legend cast spell you casted at end of turn. And are we sure they only drew exactly 3 cards? Playing any draw spell (which they tend to do) certainly impacts the odds. The fact that it was King Krush is mostly irrelevant it could have been almost any other (good) Hunter card, and the complaint would be the same. The probability of 2 identical class cards (out of 3) is certainly low, but not that low. It sounds like the game was really not going “so-so” it just looked like it because they hadn’t set up their win condition yet. Against a deck with awful early game, but generally good late game. So you had zero pressure going, and no real way to actually attempt a win. You let an Espionage deck get to turn 12, and apparently 3 damage was enough to “take the board” from you. Right after playing Academic the very next turn. Game is going so - so then at around turn 10 he plays Academic after playing Elikk and shuffles TWNETY cards into his deck.įlanking Strike PERFECT cost 1 and takes the board oh and that guaranteed legendary KING CRUSH! for 1.
